Investigation of In Vitro Effect and Molecular Docking of Aluminum on Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase Activity

Aim: Aluminum is one of the elements that widely used in many sectors and most abundant element nature. The harm aluminum, which was thought to be harmless until recently actively daily life, open discussion. In this study, it aimed investigate effect Sulphate [Al2(SO4)3] on Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (G6PDH) activity, a key enzyme catalyzes first step pentose phosphate pathway (PFP). addition, activity are detailed with molecular docking studies. For purpose examining vitro Aluminium G6PDH, 4 different concentration substrate (D-glucose-6-P) (01.M, 0.08M, 0.05M, 0.03M) prepared 10mM, 30mM Al2(SO4)3 added G6PDH envoriment. measured by spectrofotometrically. Molecular studies were performed DockingServer HEX 8.0.0 programs. With data obtained, Vmax calculated as 3.33 Km=0.0323. When 10 mM reaction environment, observed there decrease 24.92% 57.06%, respectively. It increase an uncompetitive inhibition due significant both Km values enzyme.
